Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June 6, 1953) is an American actress. She is well known for her character as Lieutenant Sheba in the television series Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). The actress is the daughter and granddaughter of actors Gene Lockhart. Her professional journey began young. She was just four years old when her first film role came in T is for Tumbleweed. The film, which was a short one subject, was selected for the academy award. She would spend time working on set with her mother, so that she could learn the intricacies of the business world. Lockhart was featured in a variety of scenes of Lassie. Dora in Jory was her first movie in 1972. She played the daughter of Joan Crawford in The Sixth Sense, a show on television in 1972. Joan was in the episode for her last time. Anne has been reported to have rejected Laurie Strode (John Carpenter's 1978 Halloween thriller) as well as Jaime Lee Curtis took the role. Carpenter says she was interested but she declined. Anne does not recall ever having been invited with the name of John Carpenter or being offered the position. It is possible that an agent rejected the offer for her without informing her.
